ANISA MAKHOUL

Anisa Makhoul is the daughter of a Lebanese beekeeper, and recently discovered her love for illustration.

After graduating from Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a degree in Printmaking, she launched her own clothing label, Makool. Anisa designed for 10 years in Portland but then moved to Amsterdam after her son was born and started pursing a career as an illustrator.

She now lives in sunny Portland, Oregon although Europe will always have her heart.
